talk like below makes me suspect that a gold bombing would be tee-ed up I sure view that as likely (good call!) and have some gold shorts (currently well into the black) as a hedge. BLS BS CPI broadcasting is alive & well. My own CPPI is running in the 5% range and has been moving up for almost a year. Even my US M3 reconstruction has jumped into the 5% range from about 2.5% in the middle of 2017, mostly due to fewer reverse repos. One other interesting item - eBay sales of most gold & silver has been virtually dead for about 3 weeks, having started well before the recent stock mini-crash.
