Late Friday, ORACLE CORP CEO Larry Ellison said that, if the
Asian economic crisis dragged on, it could cause the company to
fall short of Wall Street's earnings expectations. "Our business
is very solid, but that does not mean that, if we get whacked in
Asia, we won't disappoint by a few cents," Ellison told Reuters in
an interview at the Winter Consumer Electronics Show here. He
declined to be more specific about which quarters might be
affected. "I think the Asian problem is manageable as long as it
does not become a calamity of epic proportions," Ellison said.

Yea, but what was the market cap? If ORCL has 100 shares out there at $10 and SYBS has 2 shares at $15 who is worth more?

I hope the bottom is here. I'm still in a bit of a shock. Hopefully, all of this is short term. Ellison interviewed with Bloomberg and stated the demand is strong. Hopefully, this time he is telling the truth. He also said they will stop some projects and things like that to concentrate on the core business. I hope he concentrates on getting the stock back up.
