As I said there must have been one. But the point is seldom would it make any difference at all. These big shootings -- Vegas, Pulse, practically all of them -- the capacity of the magazine just hasn't been a factor. The suggestion that limiting clip size is going to solve this problem or play any material part in the solution is absurd. Is the clip size really the hill you want to die on? If you came up with a high-quality, reliable technology-based solution to the problem no one could oppose it, and even the NRA could be shut down politically. Because there is a way to control access to weapons, we just haven't implemented it yet. Even that will take decades to implement. We could make far more progress by teaching social responsibility in the schools. Which could solve a lot of other problems, too.
