I remember way back when Italy was constantly changing governments thinking that the Parliamentary system was nuts with its constant elections and no confidence votes. Now its looking pretty good... Over the years I have reflected on the parliamentary system and whether that would be better. I, too, questioned the advisability of switching horses on a dime. We know our system and its problems having lived for some time under it. We don't have an appreciation for the ins and outs of a parliamentary one let alone the profound knowledge it would take to do a quality comparison. There's a risk here of the grass appearing greener. I just don't know enough to have an opinion.
