My defense of Trump is simply a defense of our institutions. Your bias does not allow you to stay focused on facts. Here are the facts as we know them today:
1) Russia meddled. We now have an indictment that pretty much confirms what we all knew.
2) There still is no evidence available to the American public that Trump wittingly colluded in the Russian meddling.
* A federal grand jury indicted the Russians for what it alleged was a vast scheme to interfere in the 2016 election and help Trump win. But Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said at a news conference Friday that there is “no allegation in this indictment that any American was a knowing participant” in the alleged scheme.

You are trying to claim Trump is guilty before there is any evidence that he is guilty. We call that McCarthyism in this country. As to my own opinion, I don't believe Trump himself wittingly colluded. It is possible some of his campaign staffers were pulled into the Russian meddling web unwittingly. The indictment says as much. But unwittingly is the term they use, which means NO COLLUSION.
