Yes, I am. Because we have a huge immigration problem in this country that is draining our welfare resources and impacting the health and welfare of many millions more than the Dreamers. We have to solve that problem. That involves negotiation. Trump is using DACA as the lever. The Dems are using all of their wishlists including mass migration, protection for Muslim immigration, chain migration, and all their pet projects as their lever. It's called politics.

That is the very hard part about being a leader. You have to think about the greater good and act in a way to drive towards the greater good. This is why I have said that you have a good heart. Your posts come from a good place. You genuinely feel for the Dreamers and the other causes you get behind. I admire that. However, it makes it difficult for you to come up with solutions for the greater good.

Look, I am part Hispanic. My father immigrated LEGALLY from a Communist/Socialist country in order to ensure his children and family would have a better life than he did. I more than sympathize, I empathize with the Dreamers. However, I am 100% convinced that the Dreamers will ultimately get their law passed that will make them citizens. Trump is smart enough to know that if he doesn't get a deal done for them, he'll lose a lot of support. Given that belief, I absolutely think it is ok to use the Dreamers as a bargaining chip to fix the bigger immigration problem we have in this country. A heck of a lot more than the Dreamers' welfare is at stake. The welfare of millions are at stake, not to mention the integrity and security of our country.
