I know you keep saying that. But you keep saying a lot of things that have no basis in reality. In the 1960s and 1970s those rifles you talk about were not semi-automatic with light trigger pulls and extended magazines. And, unless they were for varmints, they had a kick to them. Comparing an AR-15 with a bolt action 30.06 is night and day. They just weren't designed for killing as many things as possible in a short period of time.

I grew up with hunters. Many of my relatives are/were hunters. I grew up familiar with those guns. What that kid used at his school, what was used in Vegas, Pulse and other places were only familiar to people who spent time in Vietnam. You know. Where we were fighting a war at the time. Should we be making Claymores available? Those were common in Vietnam, too. Hand grenades?

I used to shoot competitively in high school, pistols and rifles at targets. But, not AT the HS! That must have been an Arkansas thing. I never liked hunting, but did some. Never as an adult.

Wild animals are really to wonderful to kill. They're our fellow beings on this Earth, having survived the evolutionary fires, as we did. We should treasure them.

A couple of my parent's neighbors got in an argument over the phone. One went over to the other's house and...

Your dad headed to the ditch and Peeked out the front and saw them running down the street throwing shots over their shoulders at the house next door.,got David’s back windshield and the front windshield, several bullets hit the house,John Willman was not happy!

This never happened either. And no, the people involved were not high school students.
