You can't do that on large suburban campuses. To be clear, my friend wasn't remotely proposing imprisoning students, merely commenting that nothing short of that comes with a guarantee. Where I teach there are several "legit" entrances and exits which are manned by campus supervisors- who stand there and check ID's. Well, yeah. So where was the ID checker the other day and why have I not seen any discussion about the school's procedures for entry?
