Oh you silly. "Tolerance" doesn't mean you have to like the morons you live with in your society.. You are so clueless. Tolerance just means you "tolerate" them. It's not approval. It's not affection. You can even hate people (which I certainly do) and still "tolerate" them. And don't even tell me republicans even "tolerate" tolerance programs. They want more prayer in schools. They want religious schools. They want all sorts of things that promote LESS tolerance. So just pack up your bullshit and peddle it to someone idiotic enough to believe you. Just so we're all on the same page: tol·er·ance 'täl(?)r?ns/ noun noun: tolerance 1. the ability or willingness to tolerate something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with. So- I might think you are a complete moron. That your ideas are destroying America. But, because I am tolerant, I won't kill you because of that, or even hit you. Or, in my case, you wouldn't even know how I felt if we met in public. Because I'm polite in 3d AND tolerant.
