I doubt the weather in Italy and France along the Mediterranean was cold and hard on survival. But look at the work of Da Vinci for example.

It's a discussion of groups of people. Da Vinci doesn't matter, individuals fall outside of the bell curve all the time. The topic is groups of people.

We don't have any dominant equatorial groups. Almost all of the amazingly successful groups come from 4 season geographies. At some point in the year, they got snow.

Thailand has never been colonized. Japan and Korean have both been totally destroyed and occupied recently, in Korea's case lots of times.

Thailand = hot year round. Japan and Korea = snow in the winter.

They're all Asian.

Weather is a better category than race in this topic (I think). You've just chosen race because you can map someone's racial history, but you can't (I think) map the weather pattern history of their ancestors.
