I am not that doctrinaire. It may seem that way simply because I see Trump and the Republicans today as a tremendous threat to our democracy. I think we need to oppose them commensurate with the threat they are.

I don't really care about a museum board except as a recognition of the threat we face i.e the right wing is instituting their people in every nook and cranny of our society they can. The have a master plan whose foundation is controlling the courts and all elected positions right down to dog catcher using propaganda. The plutocrats know for every dollar they spend getting people elected they get many more back. It is an investment. A business deal.

Here is a warning from Gergen a consummate pro. And as you know Gergen is about as pragmatic and vanilla a politiican as they come, working equally well for Bush or Clinton. This is what I saw almost two years ago that made me so animated. I posted many times that for the first time we had a nominee that could not be president and it was all hands on deck.
