And what will MSFT charge for it? Ridiculous, I would surmise and intent on perpetuating the OS legacy. The question is; is it the best choice or solution. Without quanitative alternatives, we don't really know. I'm sure some others that had OS's for devices are screaming bloody murder about now. Gee with SI Teardrop attack on NT, it's going to be the pits when your favorite Vetenarin Show or Lassie can't be view when your set top device has been attacked.

I went skiing. Had blast, too.

This reminds me of the "Corel Perfect Office Suite". A bunch of little loosers combined into a single package = one big looser. (I hope I don't upset anyone with this!)

I don't know much about Flex. However, it doesn't seem to be a very popular mnemonic up here. I also find it incredible to think that by putting CE at the end of something, it will become fast, efficient and portable. Oh yes, and intelligent. Who am I to know about this Anita [TM] type stuff, anyway.

I interpret this release like the lawsuits and this morning's market sell off. Very bullish. The race is on and the Q appears to be setting the pace.

Maurice:

From my quick scan of the post it appears that microsoft and motorola are collaborating only for paging, including 2-way. It is my impression that(and I could be wrong) that the only 2-way paging system currently available is Motorola's FLEX system. this joint agreement doesn't go any further IMHO.
