Your problem is that you can't recognize cause and effect. So you just make up lies about republicans.

Clinton rewrote the Community Reinvestment Act, which loosened housing rules, signed the Commodity Futures Modernization Act (which exempted credit-default swaps from regulation) and repealed Glass-Steagall. Those were the legislative underpinnings of the collapse.
