Aluminum wiring negatively affects home value in Toronto... Just is.. Copper easier to work with.. (Personal experience) on the transmission side aluminum is a winner.. However the goal should be to REDUCE transmission lines and have smaller interconnected networks.. renewables like wind, run of river and solar lend themselves easily to this.. Government does not like the fact that it is not centralized and controllable.. (Taxable).. Libertarians should EMBRACE renewables..
