His (CJ's) comment, "just so others can play with deadly weapons.", is where the message spins out of control.

CJ seems to be doing what you accused me of, that is, assuming the efficacy of a ban. I am not making that assumption. But I do think that Bentway was on target <g> when he framed the disaaffected cohort as hobbyists.

This is about one of the fundamental rights Americans have and yes, it would require a constitutional amendment to change that...

I see a libertarian aspect to this. I am disinclined to take away anyone's choice about anything. But a constitutional amendment is at leasst as much of a stretch.

If you can ban bump stocks, you can ban large magazines. I just woke up, and you say Trump banned bump stocks? Is he writing his own laws with EO's now? Isn't that what Obama did?
