But you shot down nothing. You didn't actually prove anything. You didn't really even cast doubt on the assertion. You just made an unsupported statement that, if true, would have supported your position. But, just asserting something doesn't make it true. A fact you never seem to grasp. Because you do it again.

It is a stupid argument to claim this is all about AR15's

Of course. Which is why I never assert it. But they are a factor. There is a reason why they have become the weapon of choice in these murders. They just make it easier. Because they are designed to make it easier. Funny how when you have a tool optimized for a certain job, it is better at it than ones that aren't optimized as well. And perceptive people recognize that and adapt to that reality. While things like hammers can be used for mass killings, they rarely, if ever are. Because they are optimized for other tasks.

That, by the way, is a classic example of a "straw man" argument that you just used.

And no, AR-15s and their derivatives did not create the phenomenon of mass killings. They just make then easier to rack up a large body count. To think that is ok and there is and should be nothing we can do about that is, well insane. Or politically convenient. Which is not exactly sane in and of itself.
