I had a MRSA back in 2005. Was treated to a new antibiotic from the EU that only had a number- didn't have a name. Was so strong I had to have a shunt put in- so they could put the antibiotic into my large arteries and not burn the ones in my arm. Glad not to have lost my foot/leg- but it was still an ordeal coming back from it.

Really glad to see any advances on the MRSA front- those bugs travel fast and hit very very very hard.
