Jim and Ian Davidson, Hi!!!!! Hey, where did the thread disappear to friday night....I have tried twice to answer your question....so, here it goes again..... You asked about the info from SSBarney....so, the quick version is this: I have these two "kids" who wrestled for me...brothers, grads of Cornell....one is my broker and the other you may remember works for Dell.....well, talking to my broker on Friday he says...good news...Dell is now a 2 and no longer a 3.. Interesting note here....the previous analyst who had Dell at a 3 also had WDC at a 1.....No sooner did they merge with Salomon did they change...they also fired the analyst.....I love accountability.......He then went on to say: " the really good news is it was just scanned to us here that we have been advised that SSB feels it will definitely be one of the first stocks to react against this negative sentiment since they will benefit from the Asian crisis"...nothing new to us...but, nice to hear SSB saying this world wide... Now, furthermore....I am a cheerleader for this stock...and I am proud of it...Dell has changed my life....so until they do me wrong...go with the winner....well, Jim....I'd like to predict something...Dell will blow away the qt....Mike is going to squeeze harder than ever to really prove to us and those who stood by him they deserve the reward...and those that made those doomsday statements....just wait for his smile....Only my opinion....but, I have never stuck my neck out before...this time I will....Buy Dell.
