If shooters know there may be armed teachers or coaches or principals or whatever there won't be as many shooters. They're attracted to gunfree zondes.

There was a coach and a geography teacher who ran toward the shooter and were killed. It would've been great had those heroes been armed.

They had been warned about the shooter's danger months and years ago.


FOUR deputies didn't enter the school till Coral Springs city police showed up and ran in. Not even to care for the wounded. This may be more than simple cowardice like Trump said. They may h/b told to standdown and wait for backup.


Then he started hiding behind "gun" as an excuse for his departments life wasting folly. ]

The Broward County Sheriff (and Democrat), Scott Israel who dared to sit at a town hall and bellow at NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch when he knew his deputies did not answer the call. And the media praised him like a conquering hero. It’s enough to make anyone with a conscience want to puke.

When a mass shooting happens, the mainstream media and liberal politicians do what it does best: Blame the NRA.

It’s always the same. Before any facts are made available, Democrats are on social media blubbering, “Do something!” and the media begins their usual routine of speculating with no information but make sure to “ask questions” about the NRA and its culpability. Before you know it, there is an all-out onslaught against the NRA and the next thing, they are front and center, taking the blame because they oppose “common sense gun control.”

The Parkland, Florida shooting was no different at first. But this shooting took a different turn when surviving students at the high school began to speak out, raising the stakes.

CNN decided to hold a town hall and invited politicians and the NRA to take part. Dana Loesch, knowing she was going to step into a hostile environment, made the decision to attend on behalf of the NRA. She shared the stage with Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel.

What followed was a disgusting display by a man who knew what a crap job his department did, not only dealing with the shooter before he went on his rampage but also knowing the deputies in his department were derelict in their duty, sitting outside the school and doing nothing while kids were being shot to death. He attacked Loesch. He berated her. He blathered about more gun control to earn applause from the crowd.

His office did nothing. His deputies did nothing.

17 people gunned down. Nobody came to help them.

And how did the media treat this Israel? He was the conquering hero for taking on the evil NRA!

The list goes on. Meanwhile, when Coral Springs police officers arrived on the scene of the shooting, here is what they found:

When Coral Springs police officers arrived at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on February 14 in the midst of the school shooting crisis, many officers were surprised to find not only that Broward County Sheriff’s Deputy Scot Peterson, the armed school resource officer, had not entered the building, but that three other Broward County Sheriff’s deputies were also outside the school and had not entered, Coral Springs sources tell CNN. The deputies had their pistols drawn and were behind their vehicles, the sources said, and not one of them had gone into the school.

Shame on you, Sheriff Israel. And shame on you CNN for what is either incompetence or malice on your part, allowing that piece of human filth to take the stage and playing the righteous cop wants to save the children when he’s largely responsible for what happened. Not the NRA.

This is on you, Sheriff Israel. You could have stopped the shooter. Your deputies could have done their job and ran into that school, possibly saving lives. Yet you point the finger of blame at the NRA? Have you no shame, sir? The blood is on your hands.

MSD Student Who Ran Toward Gunfire Has A Message For #BrowardCoward

When Marjory Stoneman Davis High School senior Brandon Huff received a text from his girlfriend saying, “There’s a shooter in the room. I love you,” he said he “dropped everything and ran toward that building.”

On his way there, he saw school resource officer Scot Peterson – outside, crouched behind a staircase, “pointing his gun at just a building.” He couldn’t believe it. He saw Coach Aaron Feis and Athletic Director Chris Hixon, unarmed and without the bulletproof vest the officer had, running into the building to save students. Feis and Hixon lost their lives in the process.

Huff described what he saw to a local television station:

The school resource officer was behind a stairwell wall, just standing there, and he had his gun drawn, and he was just pointing it at the building. And shots started going off inside. You could hear them going off over and over again.

He was pointing his gun at nothing. He was pointing his gun at just a building with kids in it. And he was just talking on the radio and he never did anything, for four minutes. He’s the only one with a gun, the only one with a bulletproof vest, and he did nothing.


Peterson was behind a stairwell of an adjacent building to where the shooting was happening. The building on the right is building 12, where the shooter was. Peterson was in front of the building on the left.



Huff has a message for Peterson:

You’re despicable. You didn’t do your job. You were trained for this. You were armed. You had a bulletproof vest. You were protected more than anybody else who died, who lost their lives, and you did nothing.

You did nothing at all, and you could have saved a lot of lives.

On Feb. 14 Coral Springs Police Sgt. Jeff Heinrich was off duty and working on the athletic field at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where his wife is the assistant athletic director and his son is on the football team. When he heard shots, he “obviously…dropped the hose that I was using to water the field and ran towards the parking lot, which is where the kids were.”

Unlike the school resource officer and three other Broward County deputies, Heinrich, who was unarmed and wearing shorts and a T-shirt, ran toward the gunfire to attempt to save lives.

Immediately when I ran into the parking lot I encountered a young student that had a massive gunshot wound to his…lower ankle area. I was able to grab him and take him where I was, where I previously was, which was the baseball area.

Capt. McKeon was outside the locker room…he’s one of our SWAT guys. So he had an extra vest and his backup weapon with him, because he was using his rifle. So I took his SWAT vest, and I put it on. I was wearing a pair of shorts and a T-shirt. Put it on, and then got his gun, his secondary weapon, and we systematically cleared back toward the 12 building.

They’re my family. Not only my family, my personal family, but the Douglas people. Those kids, teachers, and staff that I’ve known for years. My wife is the assistant athletic director who works hand-in-hand with Chris Hixon, who lost his life. Coach Feis was my son’s football coach. So it cuts on a different level for me.

All while the Broward deputies crouched behind vehicles, weapons drawn. Broward Sheriff Scott Israel knew all of this in the days leading up to the CNN Town Hall where he attacked Dana Loesch and the NRA and denied all responsibility for the massacre. Only a monster could be so devoid of compassion and decency.

Coral Springs officers were rightfully upset with Broward deputies not only for the lives lost due to their cowardice, but because Sheriff Israel refused to acknowledge that Coral Springs officers were the first ones in the line of fire.

Coral Springs Police Chief Anthony Pustizzi sent out this email to his staff on Feb 16 because, per source, some officers under his command were upset that Broward Sheriff’s Office wasn’t acknowledging that Coral Springs Police were first to charge into MSD High School:

By Feb. 16, anger within the Coral Springs Police Department had reached a boiling point, and Police Chief Anthony Pustizzi sent an email to his staff to reassure them that “the truth will come out.”

“I understand that another agency has given the impression that it had provided the majority of the rescue efforts, and that the tremendous work of the Coral Springs Police and Fire Departments has not been recognized. Please know that this issue will be addressed, and the truth will come out in time. The focus for us now, however, must be on healing — for ourselves, our families, our community and those residents surrounding us. While recognition is not the reason we choose to do what we do, our Commission, City Manager and residents are well aware of the actions our members took in the face of danger and the heroes that you are.”

The manner in which the Broward County Sheriff’s Department handled this incident and its aftermath is completely despicable and evil. The entire leadership should resign or be fired.

This is horrific. “In November, a tipster called BSO to say Cruz ‘could be a school shooter in the making’ but deputies did not write up a report on that warning. It came just weeks after a relative called urging BSO to seize his weapons.”

Do you think the liberal Democratic sheriff may have thought let the tragedy unfold? It'll help the anti-gun cause.

I'm not sure I think that myself, but why do you think his deputies all stood down? The Coral Springs city police didn't.
