The fact of the matter is that an AR-15 is an easy to use weapon. By design. Certainly the person using it can make a difference. For example, if they chose a Desert Eagle...

As to the assault weapon, I didn't use the term. It was an advertising term back when it was being advertised as "your man card". The media picked it up and it has been with us ever since. Don't blame the media or politicians for it, blame the weapon manufacturers who wanted to distinguish it from other rifles.

As to saying they are no different than other semiautomatics, that is bullshit. As I have pointed out more than once. They were carefully designed to kill and/or injure a lot of people in a short period of time. Period. Full stop. Saying they are just like other semi-automatics is like saying a musket is the same as a .30-06. They both shoot lead objects with an explosive, after all...

So go peddle the nonsense your NRA masters have programmed you with somewhere else.
