You are mixing up political systems with economic systems and you keep doing that, over and over. We have been over this socialism, capitalism thing many times and yet you keep coming back to it? Every western democracy is a democratic socialist country. That is NOT socialism, that is democracy. Why can't you get that? The amount and kind of socialism is voted for by the people. And most countries with more socialism than us have better statistics for health and welfare.

Every city and state has a government that taxes the people for myriad social programs like water, sewer, city codes, food safety, roads, police, fire, etc. Those are all socialist programs. No one is advocating socialism as a political system. And Russia was a dictatorship. Why can't you get that?

Keynes was considered as smart as Einstein by the smartest people in the world, and ran with that group. That he was a charlatan is another right wing myth. It was his ideas that pulled us out of the great depression.

We should stimulate the economy during recessions and pay it off during good times. That is econ 101! Most economics schools in the world teach that. Few if any teach Austrain economics as it is a primitive right wing idea. Another right wing myth.

I understand capitalism. It is not complicated. And it is a good system. But you cannot run a society on it and it must be regulated by democracy.

You have these ideas that are dead wrong and you refuse to consider that.

Keynes was a charlatan. He sold the idea successfully that you could spend your way to prosperity. I've read Keynes. The other half of what Keynes told people was that you save during good times, but that message was conveniently ignored by all politicians.
