The way the market reacts like a 'monkey with a buy (and sell) button', hey I am suprised it did this well with that news. I'm staying with, until something is up for real. It behooves me to.

Stephen and all - IMO, Compaq has not performed well due to the skepticism in the sub 1000 sales. The market does not believe the margins are there and until they come out and show it one way or the other, don't expect a big move. Dell has out performed CPQ cause they have shown ( last months earnings report ) they are growing sales above the 1000 market and the margins were good. At present, this is not a market that trades on blind expectations anymore.

Long and patient,
Tom
