The school resource officer was a county deputy, so were three other deputies who showed up to cower behind their cars.Shame on you for mocking people who wear uniforms and carry weapons to defend the public. Anyone who carries a gun and badge knows they may have to face armed criminals at any time. So after mocking the cops who stayed outside as cowards, you idolize others you have known as heroes.... Why were the Parkland guards cowards??? I have two cops living in my immediate neighborhood, one of them FBI...... a next door neighbor (a cop) moved out last year to become a housing contractor..... One of my best friends in high school wanted to become a cop all his life but it was kind of amusing to the rest of us because he was not a brave guy.......he would yell "go get em guys' when a fracas started, he stayed in the back..... He was too short to get into all the police departments he applied to but finally got into the city of Baltimore, MD police department and retired from there as a detective Sargent... I never heard stories one way or the other from him...but we all loved the guy... But you're still hiding from the issue.....!!!!
