Scott, GPGI letter just hit dated Jan.6 and some 1998 plans for the future:1)-Hassy Plant possible tank construction(?)(probably THE process),2)-Water Test for natural leaching from the Oro Grande that is beneath the mine itself into waters-of Gold and Platinum therein(smart thinking-novel and very creative!)(See Mike Wendell post on the ages leach -naturally of acids/sulphuric/etal to AU/CU/ZN into the environment(thus same process into waters beneath) this AM on the Microcluster Thread),3)-Talk of the former owner starting this testing, I believe that is Sonny LaMonte and is already on the GPGI team for years! and 4)- "The Company is also considering the acquisition of another old historic mine in the north western area of Arizona consisting of 1,000 acres, and which has a concentrator plant located on-site." Signed by R.E.J.
ChucalikesthisLARAMIDE( 65 million years plus ages stuff)( Eroded-rounded rolling hills is the age indicator, I think, anyone know? Mesozoic "Era" or subsection of Cretaceous just above Juraccic in time for the "period") Just always curious.
