We had tons of money until Bush started those two dumb wars and cut taxes on the rich and allowed wall stret to engage in fraud.

. And now Trump has cut taxes even more for the rich.

Answer, raise taxes on rich and corporations. We are a very rich country.

Force corporations and rich to bring back money stashed overseas on penalty of jail!

Unlike Norway, we can't afford it. We're bankrupt. Norway has a huge sovereign wealth fund in comparison to a tiny population. We have a functionally insolvent government relative to a very large population. I am not in favor of continuing to put our heads in the sand and pretend that deficits and debt do not matter.
