In the aftermath of the tragic mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Trump has come forward with perhaps his most delusional claim yet.

While speaking with a group of governors at the White House today, the President claimed that, if he was at the scene of the shooting, he would have run into the building to prevent the gunman from carrying out the massacre.

“I really believe I’d run in there even if I didn’t have a weapon,” Trump said.

This, of course, is the same president who sought five deferments to dodge the Vietnam draft because of conveniently timed bone spurs which have since miraculously disappeared. If a 30-year-old Donald Trump was too much of a coward to fight in Vietnam, the chances that he, at 71-years-old, was going to run unarmed toward an AR-15 are about as likely as him having won an Olympic gold medal for snowboarding this week.

Not to outdo himself, he further assured the group of governors that the National Rifle Association is an ally in the fight for school safety.
