An estimate of 440,000 deaths from care in hospitals “is roughly one-sixth of all deaths that occur in the United States each year,” James wrote in his study.Sep 19, 2013so reduce the number of doctors and hospitals must be lefty loon shepy solution.

Who is James and why don't you post links to your crap? The number of deaths from "hospital mistakes" is usually published as between 100K to 200K....

* Of the 2.5 million times citizens use their guns to defend themselves every year, the overwhelming majority merely brandish their gun or fire a warning shot to scare off their attackers. Less than 8% of the time, a citizen will kill or wound his/her attacker.[3]

That is from a paper published by Florida State U professor Gary Kleck about 30 years ago.(I talked to him and got his paper).....if a person heard his trash can lid move from a racoon and he got his gun out, that was counted as defensive....

All of your numbers are grossly exaggerated but they expose the potential for death by gun and dictate the necessity to reduce the number of guns...
