Obama was not a progressive, far from it.

And you are feeding me the Hannity and Rush Limbaugh view of the world. I know because I use to listen to them once a while while I was driving to work.

The GOP took control because Obama disappointed his progressive base and many sat out ensuing elections when their representatives and Senators went along with the President.

It is always a question of priorities. This country can easily survive and thrive under single payer. If most of the rest of the world can do it and manage, so can the US. Why don't you tell me specifically why you think single payer wouldn't work here?

What was returned to employees as a result of the tax cut was a small pittance in relation to what was received. Most of the money has been used or is going to be used for share buy backs. The Starbucks CEO even wondered why a tax cut was necessary.

<<Everything you are witnessing in the market is a result of free market principles being put in place by Trump and his admin.>>

Now you are getting very much carried away here, in your Trump euphoria. Need I remind you the Market did very well under Obama and Bill Clinton.

Wow.

Single payer first. Norway has single-payer and its life expectancy is higher than ours. Even Hong Kong has single-payer and a higher life expectancy.

After the Great Recession, republicans wanted to cut spending (which is what Europe did) which resulted in some of their states going into double-dip recessions (Germany) and triple dip recessions (France). It was because of progressive police that the global economy didn't go into a Great Depression. We increased spending.

The Great Depression and Great Recession happened under conservatives. Recovery from both came from progressives.

The stock market soared under Obama. The current market is getting free money (debt) under Trump so business is expecting short-term growth AND long-term government debt (which will never go away).
