Wayde, I don't do options, but you are right on INTC....If you are a pattern player, this is where you short it, right around 76.00....You set your buy stop at 80 1/8....Keeps potential loss to 5 to 7%..But the downside potential is very good....

Regards, Mark

P.S. I have two meetings tonight and won't be back until 10:00 P.M. and have given my wife my word that I won't be back online....Am looking for the market to tread water for a few more days until we make the decisive break of 7600 and 900 on S& P......Will be patient...Sure was not an angry turnaround from 7600, was it....

Intel may break down, but probably not right after earnings. Your idea of straddling with Jan. options is not a good one in my mind. Premium on both sides will drop after earnings and likely the stock will stay near 75 until Friday. Your position will dwindle very quickly.
