Kasha,
I am afraid that this may be the only thread that will have me after this confession. I previously admitted to having a family member that turned into a l-l-l-l...an attorney. Now I am afraid that I have a brother who is turning Yankee. There... it is said. He has lived in Canada for many years which I found tolerable but recently he moved to Maine. To make matters worse, when he visited over the Christmas holidays, I noticed his language. He has lost the beautiful drawls and the correct pronunciation of the true and correct southern vocabulary.
At one point, he had the nerve to say to me, "Whatchusaytame - Idinthearya?".
Of course, I am heart-broken to see a member of my family fall to such a state. How can I ever hold my head up, knowing that someone of my blood has done this? Will BamaReb ever talk to me again. What am I to do? Maybe Humble Habib can help me on this one.

PS: I know that you will keep this confidential and not be too hard on me. I would really hate for this to become general knowledge since I think that some people might be less sensitive and kind than I know you to be.
