Rarebird, before we continue on this meaningless tirade, let me just clarify what YOU believe in (or at least SHOULD believe in). You obviously don't want to force doctors to work for free. That concept never entered your mind, probably because you were too busy waxing on about your altruism. Instead, you want to pay doctors using tax dollars so that no one who can't afford health care would be denied treatment. That way, the doctors get paid (as they should be), and the patients get the treatment they need in order to survive. Can we at least settle on that before moving on? There are certain realities that need to be actively affirmed, like the fact that we all need to be paid, even those whose jobs involve saving lives. Tenchusatsu
