Trump promises to take Obama-sized bite out of Second Amendment
by David Leach • March 1, 2018

During the presidency of Barack Obama, conservatives were justifiably concerned over his multi-faceted attack on the Constitution as he advanced a host of liberal priorities important to his Democratic Socialist base. But it looks like Obama will be relegated to playing second fiddle to the New York liberal now occupying the Oval Office.

Just one day after announcing the launch of his 2020 re-election campaign, Donald Trump held a “bipartisan” meeting with legislators to discuss how he plans to take an Obama-sized bite out of the Second Amendment using Obama’s favorite tools: his pen and phone.

With Dianne Feinstein sitting so close that she was practically his lap, Trump informed his liberal friends that he will ban bump stocks by executive order.

“I’m going to write that out. We can do that with an executive order. You won’t have to worry about bump stocks. We can do it without Congress. We have to act.”

But that was just the beginning for Prima Donald.

As the man possessing a successful track record of attacking the First Amendment rights to free speech and a free press, Trump decided he would incorporate his success at denying the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments’ right to due process to his anti-Second Amendment plans.

In response to a suggestion from Vice President Pence that due process rights be protected in the gun-control debate, Trump let those in attendance know that his plan to destroy the right to bear arms couldn’t be bothered with such a pesky detail, saying, Take the guns first, go through due process second.”

As I wrote just two days ago, Trump and the party formerly known as Republican are working hand-in-hand with Democrats to disarm America. So, any thought you might have that these GOP cowards in Congress wills stop Trump’s Obama-inspired policies from succeeding are pure fantasy.

Next up on the anti-Second Amendment agenda is Trump’s stated desire for a complete gun ban for adults 18-21 years old. While it’s being touted as a way to deal with so-called “assault weapons,” language in a bill proposed by Dianne Feinstein essentially bans the purchase of any gun for this age group.

One of the reasons many people voted for Trump was to keep Hillary from continuing Obama’s agenda. Looks to me like they focused on the wrong candidate.

Brumar, if I were you, I'd be careful with what you post.

With the way this country is going, they're going to take away guns from anyone who displays signs of a mental condition.
