Again, I said it wasn't without risk. The US dollar is "dead" without inflation. Trump just guaranteed inflation. Look I don't like the US FEDERAL RESERVE, but unless we get our economy going we are all going to be hurting. We have to do this because our government is beholden to a central bank. So it is as simple as this. 1. Trump has gotten Americans back to work but it will not last unless we get the velocity of money going. 2. The best way to "jump start" this is through the new Tax law because it incentivizes companies to bring capital back to America but they have to have higher prices to make it work. 3. Impose tariffs to guarantee "higher prices" for the companies to benefit from. So you have got to change your paradigm on "free trade". That era is over. Again, I didn't say it wasn't without risk and this is an experiment. Look, either we get rid of the Federal Reserve or we impose "tariffs" to get inflation to save the bank and our way of life. Politicians will always favor inflation because it appears to "hurt less" than deflation. FDR took the people's gold in 1933. No one alive now except a few on this board now understand its importance. So until the Federal Reserve is dead, I suggest we all learn how to dance to the fiddle Trump just broke out. Buy gold, pay off your debts on real estate, make sure your children learn practical skills, and buy American. G-n-G
