Bill, Everyone has a right to defend himself. That's the primary reason to keep the 2nd amendment around as is. I never bought into the notion that citizens need to arm themselves in order to oppose a tyrannical government. But I do buy into the right to self-defense, which among other things will reduce the citizens' reliance on government for security. Shep, of course, would rather just let the cops handle it. Which seems to be the response every liberal gives. This while they accuse cops of being brutal and overzealous in their enforcement of the law. Tenchusatsu
