I know many, many conservatives and almost all believe in both evolution and AGW. I find the better correlation to non-belief of evolution to be whether or not you are Baptist. I don't know why, but most Christians believe in evolution, but many Baptists do not. As for AGW, I do find that more GOP members do not believe in it and belief among liberals is almost universal. So there's some truth to that. However, the better correlation is not so much party line as it is age. Younger conservatives, below the age of 65, for the most part DO believe in AGW, at least among the conservatives I happen to know. It's the older generation that does not. In addition, I find that GOP members who are associated with the oil and gas industry do NOT believe. That one is for obvious reasons. Their livelihood depends on their lack of belief. Conservatives have their faults and they are prone to propaganda to disbelieve AGW. I'll give you that. However, liberals also are prone to propaganda, most recently, to believe that Socialism and Communism are better political-economic systems than Capitalism. Because that is the mother of all propaganda wars that Russia and China is winning recently, even though we fought a hot and then a cold war to end those ideologies. So why are the scientific minds of the liberals unable to understand economics? And why are they unable to see with their own eyes that Venezuela and Cuba do not work?
