Interesting. I wonder why that question and decision point has not reached Trump's desk yet, so he can sign off on a decision? Can you imagine how many government leaders are sitting on their hands waiting for Trump to notice them, instead of reaching out to the White House to request a decision?

I'll tell you this. If I had managers working for me who watched as customer issue spiraled out of control, because they were waiting for me to propose a meeting, instead of proactively calling or texting me to bring my attention to it, then I would fire that manager and get one with a little more initiative. Why do we hire leaders who sit on their hands? At the executive levels, of which I used to be one, we simply don't have the bandwidth to look at everything. Oftentimes, we rely very heavily on trusted leaders who work for us to bring the critical issues to our attention for quick sign off on proposed actions and solutions. Trump is probably experiencing the same thing. I mean, he probably doesn't have much time between all the tweets he sends out. ;)
