Yeah, I know. It shouldn't matter, but the ammosexuals live for those distinctions. Tim used it against Lane3 instead of addressing her argument. People like Tim are so programmed by that crap that they assume when someone argues against them, they don't understand the issues; Sort of like Bible thumpers assuming that if you don't agree with them, you must have had no exposure to the Bible. The other one is what the media commonly calls "silencers". If you don't call them "suppressors" then you must know nothing about them. I once got someone confused on Ted's board when I argued against relaxing the restrictions on suppressors and he haughtily told me they were called "silencers": And then segued into a discussion on "suppressors"...
