So what’s your point ? Many is all ? Many is a few ?

You really believe defending children with tough looks works better than an armed guard ?

Some churches allow guns so .... what ?

Soft targets appeal to you ?

What’s your point ?

Iran's Khameini calls for banning guns in America

In US, 100s are killed every week by homicide for no crime,—no reason—not at the hands of police, as US police brutality is a separate issue. The accessibility of guns leads to homicide; it's created problems for a country like US, everyone admits, fears, & is concerned about it.

No one dares apply the clear solution to the promotion of guns and homicide in America. What's the solution? It's to make guns illegal.

Gun companies are so powerful that House representatives and U.S. senators don't dare pass prohibition of guns, and U.S. president doesn't dare speak out, rise against it. This is corruption.

Corruption means domination of a mafia greedy for power & wealth, in a way that the big political & military system like U.S. won't dare stand up for prohibition of guns—which is clearly positive. This is due to lack of spiritual ideals, leading western societies to this point.

Why do some claim guns cannot stop a tyrannical government when that did happen in the 1946 battle of Athens, Tennessee?

en.m.wikipedia.org

Robert Clouse, lives in Cincinnati, OH

The 1946 Battle of Athens isn't the only time guns have been used against tyranny. The example is Robert Franklin Williams.

Robert F. Williams - Wikipedia

As a member of the NRA, he created the Black Armed guard.

He called the Monroe Chapter of the NRA the Black Armed Guard; it was made up of about 50–60 men, including some veterans like him. They were determined to defend the local black community from racist attacks.

Newtown was the black residential area of Monroe. In the summer of 1957, there were rumors that the KKK was going to attack the house of Dr. Albert Perry, a practicing physician and vice-president of the Monroe NAACP. Williams and his men of the Armed Guard went to Perry's house to defend it, fortifying it with sandbags. When numerous KKK members appeared and shot from their cars, Williams and his followers returned the fire, driving them away.

"After this clash the same city officials who said the Klan had a constitutional right to organize met in an emergency session and passed a city ordinance banning the Klan from Monroe without a special permit from the police chief."

Later, he used guns and his group to defend Freedom Riders working for civil rights in the South.

Around this time, a white couple from a nearby town drove into the black section of Monroe when other streets were closed by mobs because of protests at the county courthouse. They were stopped in the street by an angry crowd. For their safety, they were taken to Williams' home.

Williams initially told them that they were free to go, but he soon realized that the crowd would not grant safe passage. He kept the white couple in a house nearby until they were able to safely leave the neighborhood. North Carolina law enforcement accused Williams of having kidnapped the couple. He and his family fled the state with local law enforcement in pursuit.

When he returned and was trailed in 1975, North Carolina dropped the charges almost immediately.

Now you know why there were so many gun control laws created during the 1960's. Many states in the South passed gun control laws during the 1960's, and selectively enforced them against blacks in the South.

In 1956, after King’s house was bombed, King applied for a concealed carry permit in Alabama. The local police had discretion to determine who was a suitable person to carry firearms. King, a clergyman whose life was threatened daily, surely met the requirements of the law, but he was rejected nevertheless. At the time, the police used any wiggle room in the law to discriminate against African Americans.

Dems give finger to 44% of America:

Democrats Pitch Bill Creating 50 Percent Tax On Gun, Ammo SalesPosted at 2:00 pm on March 6, 2018 by Tom Knighton

A whole lot of liberalism is nothing more than hating the other side. Trumpism is the same. Trumpers think winning means insulting / offending liberals. Liberals think exactly the same way.

We all know by now that the average Democrat doesn’t seem to like guns. That’s fine, of course, because most gun owners don’t particularly like Democrats. It’s only fair.

However, it also seems that Democrats are afraid someone might forget they don’t like guns, which is why they make some of the most brain-dead proposals I’ve ever seen. For example, take the latest effort.

A group of House Democrats has introduced a bill that would up the taxes on firearms and ammunition to pay for research on “gun violence and its prevention.”

The measure, H.R.5103, was introduced last week by U.S. Rep. Danny Davis of Illinois with nine co-sponsors. It aims to increase current taxes on guns and ammunition, as well as fees associated with National Firearms Act weapons.

Under the plan, ammunition would see excise taxes increase to 50 percent and firearms to 20 percent. Currently, manufacturers pay a long-running 11 percent excise tax on sporting firearms and ammunition under the Pittman–Robertson Act, which goes to fund conservation efforts such as hunter education programs, public shooting ranges and preserving wildlife habitat. The jump in fees under Davis’ plan would be set aside for public safety grants and research.

Well, someone wants to make a name for themselves, now don’t they?

It looks like Davis will succeed…though none of the names I can think of for him are polite enough to post on a family-friendly website.

Let’s make no mistake here. This bill is designed to dissuade people from buying guns. It’s a funny thing that Democrats seem to understand that taxing something is a good way to keep people from doing something…yet they still want to tax you for being successful.

Either way, though, this is a blatant and pathetic attempt to try and keep people from buying guns by trying to make them too expensive to purchase. The idea that a $1,000 rifle is now a $1,500 rifle is enough to keep a lot of people from making the purchase, which is the whole idea.

However, this bill has about as much chance of passing as I do of being named Everytown For Gun Safety’s Man of the Year. Maybe even less.

While the GOP has appeared squishy on the issue of guns over recent weeks, there’s no reason to think a proposal like this will fly. After all, this doesn’t just target a handful of guns that some think are too dangerous for civilian hands, it targets everything. That includes the proverbial hunting rifle, all the ammunition people buy for their current guns, the works.

It wouldn’t take long for that to be identified as a major problem, even by the Fudds. And let’s be realistic here; if the Fudds won’t support something like this, not many people will. They’ll see this as not just trying to stop new gun sales, but penalizing people who already own guns.

But that’s what gun grabbers want to do. They don’t just want to keep people from buying guns. They want to hurt the people who already have them.
