One of the articles of impeachment against Nixon was lying to the American people. Trump can't open his mouth without lying. Americans are getting tired of it. The latest poll shows almost 60% wanting the chaos to end - a chaos caused by endless lies from Trump and republicans. Trump is the republican party. They lied about death panels as easily as they lied about global warming. They lie about balanced budgets as easily as they lied about being fiscal conservatives. The "lie" defines who they are and what they believe. Without lies what would a republican talk about?
