George, hate to dwell on the negative, but if it helps the stock <g>... You said "Intel cannot become more of a monopoly by second-sourcing the Alpha". I think the more important FTC issue to the deal is the cross-licensing of the technology. That would give Intel the legal right to incorporate any of the unique (ie competitive) technology into their future (& current<g>) designs. This can't happen overnight which is why I for one have had some confidence in the company's/stock's potential for a couple years.

Short-term (and I'm not short DEC), should be interesting couple days. MSFT/DOJ trial over next couple days, FTC/CHPS decision today, Japan's FTC raiding MSFT Japan last night on eve of US MSFT/DOJ trial. We'll soon see if someone's trying to tell us something.
