As was obviously from all of Dennis' hilarious "Alternate universe/facts" claims about CCB over the years, this project was never going anywhere.

But this lawsuit mean CCB is now definitely in extremis and will soon be officially dead.

It has zero chance of winning - ask TML and all the others who tried these bully tactics. Everyone lost - and everyone got dinged with costs.

In addition, CCB has ensured no politician in Quebec will give them the time of day. It is now a pariah. And just for good measure - CCB is now on the enviro movement's most hated list.

Surprised even CCB could be this dumb. If this proceeds:

1) Duncan's track record with other companies will come to light and be dissected. It is definitely relevant for a municipality to look at the credibility of a CEO trying to claim his biz is worth $98M, when he has a trail of nothings bend him; and

2) The legal costs could be the end of CCB. Clearly it had to be at deaths door anyway to try such a stupid stunt and probably thinks it has nothing to lose. The fact that Denis thinks suing a tiny municipality with a $5M budget for $98 Million will make CCB shares worth 95 cents show just how ignorant and ridiculous he and the folks behind this pathetic protect really are.

Anyone who has any stocks left should get out now. Take the five cents - if you can find anyone dumb enough to still believe anything this company says. This is heading to zero.
