I was convinced by a ME expert who wrote The Threatening Storm, Kenneth Pollack. More important than what Saddam had at any moment in time was his abiltiy and intention. He had a long history of making and USING WMD's and supporting terrorists. Saddam provided safe haven for the guy who MADE the bomb used in the FIRST WTC bombing, Abdul Rahman Yasin. As long as Saddam was in power he would be invading neighboring countries.
