<<Countr the cars at Seagate for me>> Hi Stitch Just returned this afternoon. Did confirm that Seagate closed one of their two facilities on Penang. Apparently it was an older facility. They moved some key folks to Prai (sp ?) and "retrenched" a bunch more. This information came from a supplier to Seagate so I have confidence in it. The same individual says they reduced head count at the Ipo (head Stack ? facility) by "hundreds". He wasn't sure of the exact numbers but was sure it was over 1K. I didn't get to the island myself on this trip, but one of my guys has been instructed to do a drive-by during the week and let me know what he sees. Sounds like a spy flick heh heh. Regards BT
