Mike,
You seem to know the oil bus. better than most here...
re. the links i posted:

1.Is anyone discovering any new large oil reserves in areas previously not thought of?
2.What do insiders think of existing reserves and the capability to supply the increasing oil demand?

My uncle got in on the last oil boom and bought up old reserves when prices were high. They would somehow pressurize the oil to drive it out(I think). It worked fine while the price of oil was high. He raced his formula 1 cars and had a great time...till the bottom fell out of oil!Now he works part time and lives on social security. He was completely wiped out at age 58.Just another 80's oil story.

The point is, there must still be lots of oil in known reserves. It's just that the price has to come up to justify pulling it out of the ground. Is that correct?
