Hmmmm.... hope everyone feels better soon. I have seen this kind
of thing happen over and over and over. When the market crashes
so does etiquette. Well like I posted earlier i cut my
loses at 3/8ths of a point, selling at 13 3/4. Haven't gotten back in yet but waiting. Try scalping some money while you wait for the big deal it will make things a lot easier, and more profitable.

Good luck.
Rosendo

The claim that a 2 firms had to sell their stock due to margin calls is extremely suspect. If they were buy side firms (money mgt. firms), it is incredibly tough to believe that the small decline forced a margin call. My "read" on the post suggesting the margin call thesis is that it is suggested that it was market makers being shaken out (combined with market maker dropping making a market), as mentioned in a previous post. that is even less likely, since especially in these volatile times, market makers attempt to flatten positions by the end of each trading day, and especially before a weekend. market makers would have been out for certain by the close on friday, yet the stock went down today, so something smells a little...fishy.
