Kim wanting to talk to Trump is the smart thing to do,

Kim realizes that Trump maybe crazier than him!

it does seem that the dialogue, should it commence face-to-face or be cancelled / postponed, embraces much risk given the seeming mercurial nature of the trump and the kim

however, at least we have motion, even if subsequently proven to be a waste of time, trap, or worse

the longstanding usa policy of not dialoguing is increasingly not tenable, for all the world watches kim give rise to deliverable nukes and and and, the take-away is not exactly good

but, no, i do not believe that the kim would give up on deliverable nukes

given so, the dialogue would be theatre, and the spin afterwards would be the spin

the outcome would have not much to do w/ trump, for any president can expect no better

typically, i would imagine that if country A demolishes 70% of country B's urbane centers, and many years later, still at a state of war wishes country B to give up deliverable nukes, the observer would say, 'good luck'

but, better to talk than not when it comes to nukes, just so all understand each other w/o intermediaries filtering messages
