Kerm/Sell Off Pattern.
I was unable to correlate the Oil price with the stock prices during the entire sell off periods. Admittedly sell off did occur during Oil price lows. However the start and ends of the decline in stocks did not match the equivalent dates in the oil price chart. Is this observation correct.? Previous declines were more gentle i.e over a longer period. Why was this decline so steep.?

I look forward to your insights regarding these details and how we may put that to use in the current situation.
