Well, then the E-Mail I sent Jill a minute ago may be wrong. But the same symptoms, having gone away completely toward the end of the afternoon, have returned. These are manifested by 6-7 times out of 10 getting an "unable to establish contact with server" type message, not just when logging in but also when navigating around in SI.

I am not a technoid, but I do notice that the two little screens that appear in the lower right of IE3.02, above my Win95 taskbar, flickering f
