Jewish middle and high schools so am quite aware of many of their issues, positives & negatives. US though right ? Where I grew up Jews (lots in my hood Outremont area of Montreal) went to 'protestant school' ie no religion as opposed to Catholic School where I went... did not matter .. half my friends were called izzy LOL Some assholes thought it cute to steal yamakas.. I could easily identify with (sometimes racist Jewish kids) being a minority Chink mongrel.. Now Quebec is most progressive.. ONE school board on language only ..
