In the Bay area you spend next to nothing on heating or AC saves a little money towards high cost of everything else I guess...lol
That's funny, since even though it doesn't get as cold here as it does in NY (either NYC or upstate NY, both places I've lived before), my utility bills are still pretty high.

And I don't have AC. Most homes in the SF Bay Area don't, because summers used to not get that hot. They do now, probably because of that climate changey thingy, but still not that often. (And I remember hot summers in upstate NY without AC as well.)
